Exclusive Course Policy

Togetherhood supports Providers in offering original, one-of-a-kind courses. This policy defines exclusive courses and outlines provider rights and responsibilities to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for students.

1. Definition of an Exclusive Course
An Exclusive Course is a class developed and taught by a Provider that features original content, curriculum, and instructional methods. Once designated as exclusive, the course will only be offered by the originating provider unless explicit written consent is given for reassignment or unless the provider becomes unavailable after accepting a booking or during the term, in which case the course may be reassigned under the provisions in Section 3.

2. Instructor Rights and Responsibilities

  • Instructors retain full ownership of their exclusive course content.

  • EPs must provide a comprehensive 10 week curriculum at the time of course submission to be eligible for exclusive designation.
  • Togetherhood will not share, reproduce, or assign exclusive course materials to another instructor without prior written approval.

  • Instructors may request edits to or removal of their exclusive courses from the catalog at any time.

3. Inability to Teach
If a provider becomes unavailable after a school has booked the exclusive course:

  • Togetherhood will attempt to suggest an alternative course taught by a different instructor.

  • If the school opts to proceed without an available alternative, the original class may be reassigned to a new instructor using their own curriculum.

  • The original exclusive course may be temporarily removed from the catalog until teaching availability is reestablished.

If a provider must withdraw midterm:

  • Togetherhood will assign a new instructor to complete the course.

  • The original Provider is required to submit a sequence of lesson plans for the remainder of the term, outlining learning objectives and the instructional arc to ensure pedagogical continuity aligned with the school’s expectations.

  • Temporary removal of the exclusive course from the catalog may be initiated depending on the circumstances.

4. Accountability and Consequences
Midterm withdrawal from any course, including exclusive offerings, may result in:

  • Financial penalties in accordance with Togetherhood’s standard provider policies.

  • Internal review of the provider’s status.

  • Revocation of the ability to offer exclusive courses in the future.

Togetherhood values the originality and dedication providers contribute to exclusive courses. These offerings are vital to delivering high-quality, consistent learning experiences. This policy is intended to uphold those standards by ensuring instructional continuity and accountability.
