We value our Providers’ dedication to delivering quality classes. This policy supports accountability by setting clear guidelines for course commitments and providing a process for exceptions in unforeseen circumstances.
At Togetherhood, we rely on our Enrichment Providers to honor their commitments once they accept a course request. This ensures consistency for students, schools, and the broader Enrichment Provider network. When a Provider withdraws from a course after initially accepting it, it disrupts the scheduling process and can negatively impact the learning experience. Your cooperation in following these guidelines helps maintain the reliability and quality of our programs.
Expectations
- Commitment Window: Once you accept a course request, you have a limited time to reconsider and withdraw from it without penalty:
- Within one week of accepting the request, as long as the course start date is still at least two weeks away.
- If you accept a course within two weeks of the start date, you have 24 hours to withdraw without penalty.
- If the course is set to begin within three business days, your acceptance is considered final, and any withdrawal will incur a financial penalty.
- After these periods, your acceptance is considered final.
-
This review period is also an opportunity for the provider to research the school and ensure personal alignment with the school's culture and values.
- Late Withdrawals: If you withdraw from the course outside of the allowed reconsideration window—including after the course has already started—this will result in a financial penalty.
- In order to withdraw from a course once you have already accepted it, you must email info@togetherhood.us with the course name and site and receive confirmation of receipt.
Declining a Course After the Commitment Window
If you withdraw from a course after the allowed reconsideration period, the following penalties will apply:
- If you withdraw from a course outside of the reconsideration window but before the course has begun, a penalty of $50 will be deducted from the following pay period.
- If the course has already begun, a penalty of $100 will be deducted from the following pay period.
- Multiple instances of late withdrawals may impact future course offers or your standing within the network.
Exceptions
- Emergencies
- We understand that unforeseen emergencies may arise. If a Provider experiences a legitimate emergency that prevents them from teaching a course, Togetherhood will review the case and may grant an exception. *Please note that legitimate emergencies do not include scheduling conflicts.
-
To be considered for a penalty waiver:
- The provider must notify Togetherhood of their course withdrawal by emailing info@togetherhood.us. They must also have a phone call with a member of the Togetherhood team to discuss the situation.
- The provider may be asked to provide supporting information to verify the emergency.
- Exceptions may be granted at Togetherhood’s discretion on a case-by-case basis.
- Referrals
- If you are able to refer another enrichment provider who successfully takes over your course with no missed sessions in between the handover, the penalty may be waived. This exception only applies if the referred provider fully completes the course. Please note that no additional incentive, such as a referral bonus, will be granted under this policy.
By accepting a course, you are committing to providing a consistent and enriching experience for students. We appreciate your professionalism and dedication to maintaining the quality of Togetherhood’s programs.
