Course Content Policy

At Togetherhood, we’re committed to delivering enriching, engaging, and safe learning experiences with our School Partners. To ensure quality and consistency across all programs, we’ve outlined the following course content expectations.

Policy Compliance

  • Instructors and schools must comply with all Togetherhood policies, including attendance, conduct, and safety guidelines.

  • Any content or schedule changes must be pre-approved by Togetherhood.

  • Instructors must follow all relevant school-site rules and visitor policies while on campus.

Educational Value & Course Alignment

  • All course content must be educationally enriching, fostering creativity, skill-building, and personal growth.

  • Content must match the course description as outlined in the Togetherhood Catalog.

  • Instruction should be age-appropriate and developmentally aligned with the grade levels served.

  • Instructors should be prepared to adjust course content and delivery based on school-specific educational goals or feedback.

Inclusion & Respect

  • Courses must foster inclusive, respectful learning environments for all students, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status.

  • Instructors must adapt their approach to meet the range of student needs, learning styles, and preparedness levels present in the group.
  • Discriminatory, offensive, or harmful content or language is strictly prohibited.

  • Instructors must create welcoming classrooms and be sensitive to any cultural or community-specific values communicated by the school.

Safety & Supervision

  • Student safety is a top priority. Instructors must maintain a safe, structured classroom and provide active supervision at all times.

  • For classes involving physical activity or special materials, instructors must follow appropriate safety protocols.

  • Any school-specific safety procedures must also be followed.

Communication & Logistics

  • Accurate information about class size, age ranges, space availability, and student needs should be shared by partner schools in advance.

  • Instructors should clearly communicate any special setup or material requirements to Togetherhood before the course begins.

  • Any changes to class format, materials, or timing must be communicated promptly to Togetherhood and School Partners.

Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner schools are encouraged to provide ongoing feedback on classes and instructors.

  • Togetherhood may collect surveys or evaluations to improve future programming.

  • Instructors may be asked to submit reflections, student progress updates, or other reports to support program evaluation.
