Clearance Completion Policy

This policy outlines the expectation for providers to complete required school clearances in a timely manner to ensure compliance with partner protocols and maintain uninterrupted learning experiences.

Some school partners require Enrichment Providers to complete specific clearances (such as fingerprinting or paperwork) in order to teach at their sites. While certain schools may allow Providers to begin teaching before these clearances are fully completed, it is still essential that all required clearances are finalized in a timely manner.

Before the Term Begins

Some school partners require all clearances to be completed before the term starts. In these cases, if a Provider has not completed the required steps at least one week before the class begins, we may need to reassign the course to another instructor.

Clearance Information

Clearance requirements are always outlined in the Provider Notes section of your dashboard. In addition, the Customer Success Manager (CSM) for your assignment will reach out to you directly with any specific instructions or links.

    • Example clearances include: DOE fingerprinting and online or in-person trainings.

Grace Period:

  • For schools that allow Providers to begin teaching before all clearances are finalized, there is a two-week grace period from the course start date to complete any outstanding clearance requirements.
    • After this point, Togetherhood reserves the right to withhold payment for any following sessions taught. Once we receive documentation confirming completion, withheld payments will be released in the next pay cycle.

Incomplete Clearances

If required clearances are not completed within an additional two weeks following the initial two week grace period:

  • The course may be reassigned to another Provider. The Togetherhood Team will review your account and you may be temporarily ineligible for new teaching assignments.

  • You will only receive 25% of the class rate for the sessions where payment has been withheld.

Exceptions:

  • We understand that unexpected challenges may arise. If you are experiencing delays due to special circumstances (e.g., appointment availability, processing delays), please contact the Togetherhood Support Team as soon as possible. Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis if communication is timely and transparent.

Timely completion of clearances is essential to maintaining strong relationships with our school partners and ensuring a smooth experience for both students and providers. We appreciate your cooperation in meeting these requirements and your commitment to upholding Togetherhood’s standards of professionalism and reliability.
